At the time I didn't realise that it would be the last thing she would say to me, but now that I think of it: I think that it's a very strong message. As a kid I used to get bullied a lot, and even now I can still find it difficult to stand op for myself. I guess sometimes we just need a reminder that you don't have to take shit from anybody, thank you grandma. God bless her soul.

Toni Kurz in his attempt to climb the Eiger in 1936, the whole disaster is heartbreaking but the man was hanging metres from safety and rescue and said "Ich kann nicht mehr" ("I can't [go on] anymore").
