Decided last minute to go see Interpol in Asheville last nite. No ticket to a sold out show, but my handy homemade "Need 1" sign did the trick and then was apparently passed down through about 10 consecutive ticketless people who also scored tickets with its magical powers. It was hilarious cuz I kept running into people inside who had used the sign.

Proceeded to fall in love with Alley from impressive space rock openers On! Air! Library! . Nothing is sexier than hot female rockers nuthin.

Interpol put on a solid but too short set of 14 songs. These guys are so fucking cool. Way cooler than me, and even cooler than you. I am not into boys or anything, but I must say that I was mesmerized by Interpol's Carlos D. If'n I was into boys, he would be the boy I would be into

It's late I am tired. On the road again tomorrow morning to my old hometown of Charleston to attend an amazing benefit for my favorite bartender of all time Pete Hawkins, who was in a horrific car accident in March. This guy was the absolute best bartender in the whole god damn southeast and he of course like so many food and bev'ers didn't have health insurance to cover his 3 months in the hospital and all the rehab he is having to go through. Gotta go show my love...
