I have always loved video of all types. At all parties I am always the one with the camera even if it is just a point and shoot. When my friends want to know if there is a picture I am always the one that has it. I have thousands on my hard drive and that is just since I went digital in 2003. There are thousands more in my closet waiting for me to buy a scanner and load them into the computer. When I was young we used to make films with 8mm cameras. I love to watch films, I watch more movies than anyone else I know. When I was young I wanted so badly to put video to my computer to manipulate it... but the tech was just not there yet. I kind of forgot about it but recently I have been thinking of it again. With a new storage array in my house and a new computer on the way this Fall... I am thinking of maybe adding a Camcorder again (had a Hi8 one back in the day but stopped using it after awhile then it was stolen). Maybe it is time for me to go back and try this art form again and see if there is anything there for me? Thinking of picking one of these up as a starter Canon
