What a great day. Thanksgiving came off without a hitch (Of course after hosting it 8 years in a row you would think I have this down now.. and I do) no family squabbles, no fights, disagreements. Nope, the worst thing that happened was when my 7 year old niece decided to try to feed Mr. Snuffy some turkey (my orange tabby cat who thinks he is king of the jungle). Anyway that would have been fine, he was eating it from her hand but once she dropped it and I saw her reach for it I yelled out "don't...." but too late she reached for it and his big claw came out in the "MY DAMN FOOD" kind of way cats do.

Very minor scratch (did not even show any blood) but huge drama for her. Haha... kids so much fun.

How did I keep the rest of the family in line all day?

1. Mulled Wine
2 Keep them transfixed in that old timey family way. Around the giant flat screen TV while we all played rounds of Little Big Planet:

And after the majority of the people left we settled in for another good ol' holiday movie of naked ambition, a fabulous morality tale and character study. No no no... not Ebeneezer Scrooge, Daniel Plainview was the man an the movie? There Will Be Blood. What a great movie, has Daniel Day Lewis ever done a bad film. Ever since I saw Last of the Mohicans I thought this man is a star.

I do not have enough good things to say about this movie.

And that my friends was a very happy Thanksgiving day indeed.

Good thing the guy had such a good sense of humor. smile When I hear "wang" I think of that montage at the end of the second Austin Powers, remember all that? The dick references?
