I have been in work hell since the last time I posted. I have not worked this hard since I did the Emeryworld Wide Airfreight acquisition by UPS. I am just mentally exhausted when I come home at night....
but I think I have the majority of items fixed/repaired/replaced/upgraded tha needed to happen when I ran into issues in late January.
Been thinking about how long to stay at this job. Job market is turning a bit weak but I have gained so many skills that even though I am paid well for what I was brought in todo, I am probably only paid about average for what I actually do, and I know the skill set and project skills I bring are way beyond the average in my area of expertise. Time to put some feelers out. I think 2008 may be my final year at this job... I would like to find something with more money and growth by 2009. I figure my projects will be completed by then.
Not much else. Gonna be nice today I am going to break the bike out for the first time this season with the cold weather riding gear I got for Christmas and start riding for the season again.

nice. i think if you've gained some skills no harm in looking around for what's new out there. my cold weather is colder than your cold weather

actually the cake turned out just fine. it tasted good at least. chocolate. for rob's birthday. it is the first cake i have ever baked, and it was from scratch so go me!
