A new addtion to the household...
I will be adopting my grandmothers cat. Nobody else could and I have the new home and have been thinking about getting a pet.
So we shall see how it works out since I am allergic to cats! But some are better than others. I was a bit wary at first but now I am looking forward to it and cannot wait to get him home.

we rescued are cat from a loveless household where she was being abused and neglected.
i can't go near the adoption section of the pet stores because i see that they are mostly cats and i think of ours and how long it took for her to be ok again, her real personality to come through, and i want to take home every one of them because they deserve a chance to be themselves too.
Her name is Twinkie, but not after the fatty snack. Although she herself is a bit of a fatty.
But I love her and she saved my life too. So I guess that makes us even?
