Well what has been taking my time up the last week or so.
Had the guys over for Poker. Loved the new house... got my ass kicked in Poker!!
Hehe, well win some and lose some.
My buddy just finished his complete restoration of a 1958 Porsche 356 ... oh man it is beautiful. Looked nice sitting in my driveway when he brought it over to show everyone on Poker night. Too bad he did not leave it in the drive way. Well I did get my littel car back so I am happy for that and I have been enjoying it very much.
Two more houses on my street have been gutted down to the studs are are being refurbished from the ground up. I bet they are going to be super nice. I wonder how much they will go for? I want one!!
That is okay I love my home too.
Finalized our plans to go to Vegas. Should be interesting, we are going with a two other couples. One of these couples and I had a interesting little run in with each other one drunken New Years ... my current GF does not know about that and she will not find out either. Errrmmm... i hope. Doh!!
Took Dad out to the Cameo cafe for Brunch today for his Birthday it was a perfect day for it.

Hmmm... did we meet at a bbq recently? I was hanging with a bunch of architects the week after 4th of july. They seem to be a small community here.
Do you go to temple for your buddhism or is it a self practice?
Hey sorry for taking so long to get back to you, I'm rarely on SG anymore.
Yeah, it was probably me, but with short hair.
My Buddhism is mostly a self practice, part of that is due to the lack of Theravadin temples in Portland. There are some Vipassana groups, but that's not all that I'm looking for. I have visited Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery in CA, which is Theravadin in the Thai Forest Tradition.. My husband is also a Buddhist, and better read than me, so we bounce a lot off eachother.
