Well progress update.
Things are going well. Waiting to hear back on what the builder thinks of the inspection we had done and if he is going to go along with all the minor fixes I wanted. Should have the appraisal on Monday or Tuesday and that is really the last item that could derail this deal but it should be okay.
I have made a deal for my sisters boyfriend to repair/strip/refinish a antique oak dresser I have had in the garage and was mine when I was little. In return I am giving my sister my current dining room set (it does not really go with my the furniture I bought a few years ago) and I am getting a new dining room table/chairs that can seat 8. Room for the whole family to sit at the table during the holiday's.
The antique dresser we will be using as a sideboard in the dining area.

After much researching/looking around it looks like we have decided on the Refrigerator and Washer/Dryer we are getting see here.
Refrigerator: Way too expensive Refrigerator.
Washer (dryer matches): Washer or Art??
So that is about it. Still deciding on the window treatments and a few other minor things to buy (garage door opener, some shelving for garage).
Gonna get a new bedroom set but that will have to wait till my bonus at the end of the year.
Whew.. was feeling pretty flush but damn broke now! Oh well the joys of home ownership.

I used to go to school with him. He graduated last year and moved. A few hours away. I am both leggy and buxom, but I don't seem (at least to myself) to be able to just pick from the lot, or anything. I told him before he left at some point that I'd had a crush on him for a long time, but I don't think he knows how severe it is. And even if he does, I am dating someone... Which makes it harder.
