Well, well ,well..........
It's taken me like, 5 days to update due to recovering from all the amazing fun I had on the weekend
What a night it was, too!! I speak of course about the SGAU Ball that was held in our nation's capital
last Saturday night.
The fun started after I was collected from my door by Mattscope and the delightful Bunny, whereupon we drove until we found the fabulous Bentley Suites, as organised by Brainstorma
I was super happy and excited to meet Tez, Boombambi and amobia for the first time, and was stoked to meet up with Morgannah and Brainstorma again---good times!!
Saw a tiny bit of Canberra in the short walk to the supermarket for passion-pop, amongst other things!!
Then it was all about getting ready and hanging out with others who joined us ---Aaronsrod and Mizundastood wahey
And then...the Ball!! **insert a room full of ridiculously well-dressed and incredibly HAWT individuals**
So many cool people!! Was great to be there and experience it all and hang out with some friends, as well as meeting some new folk
Incredibly enough, I jointly-won Queen of the Ball with nightblooming and boombambi!! Thanks so very much to all who voted for me--apologies for not being there for the crowning

After we hit the after-party at the pub, things got a little trashy...and verry fun!!
I remember yelling alot (I warned you), laughing alot (I warned you) and mostly being inappropriate (I reaaalllly warned you). Alot.
I was really happy to meet chilung there, and to show my appreciation I stroked his hair (as you do).
It was also great to meet I_am_ghost who had travelled all the way from Townsville to attend the festivities!! Talk about committed!! I was suitably impressed and also because he was so nice and didn't mind when I babbled crap at him.
Respect and love always to Blakemitchell for being such an awesome person and a great friend!! Ditto my main man Platypuz....you guys are so special to me
Unfortunatley I missed seeing cleverthings sing at karaoke!!
but got to see boombambi so that was awesome!! Next time, girly!!
Instead, I must have been harrassing my 2 favourites (2 of many!!) Morgannah and amobia...yeahhh hmmm
In fact, judging by the pictures and the **ahem** reports of my behaviour, I was on a full-tilt expedition to molest amobia in the most delicious ways, apparently
There was much fun back at ye olde hotel...too much fun to squeeze into this already obese update..so I will just say that it rocked the house until after 4am **yawns**.
The next day was packing up and heading out to brunch in the beautiful clean air and sunshine....and then saying goodbye >sigh<
After so much fun it was hard to say goodbye to all the lovely SGAU folk, but it had to be done......do you all promise a next time????!!!!
