Back in town, laying catch-up as usual on Monday morning.
Had fun in L.A. over the weekend at the Brave New World signing/party - Atom and Portlyn know what they're doing, that's for sure, and everyone that came out was super cool and friendly. I meant to leave a piece of art for you, Andy, but I got your email and will respond a bit later.
The 6 hour drive down with Ryan Yount was productive, as we discussed many concerns of the day and I think we also created a video game, at least on paper. One that would no doubt get us hung from the first available lamp post by an enraged populace, buta well rounded game concept nontheless. Maybe I'll start writing up our notes this week, see where it takes us.
Been putting some thought into where to go to next, after SF. San Francsico was a temporary move from the start - I figured I had 2 years to spend here, tops. There is a pro/con list weighing the relative benefits to Upstate New York vs. other options. I will say that Brooklyn remains an option, and that's something I never would have expected to be saying. But work opportunities can be a strong deciding factor, as can where your friends are.
