holy crap it's 7:00 in the morning and i'm still up...
my day started again with troy on the phone waking me up to get indian food... i put on a twisted sister record to start the day. nothing beats glam metal in the morning... from that point i decided that cock rock was going to rock the day...
the indian food is so much better when you eat it instead of inhaling it all at once... after food we went to the record store and got "poison / open up and say ahh" troy and i sang poison and laughed at the silliness of it all... we went back to troys house to try to figure out directions to the show... fucking mapquest wouldn't work. so we called arron who gave us directions... troy and i loaded up his equipment into my mom's SUV ick... then we went to get mel and kelsey. the drive was terrrible the roads were laden with fresh snow and apperantly it was supposed to be shitty... so shitty they named the snow storm "eric" or "carl" depending on who you ask... why the fuck do we have to name storms? anyway driving an suv was weird i felt so wrong being in a gas guzzling yuppiemobile, i didn't feel safe being so high above the road either... we got to madison about 630 and went to earwax to buy records i got directions from rob the owner... it was rad cause we figured out why mapquest didn't work. on the phone it sounded like arron said clark st. but it was park st. oops... well we found it ok... we were a half hour early... so we sat and listened to records and shot the shit about the wharehouse the show was in... this wharehouse was huge and they only paid 440 a month! i'm gonna start looking for a wharehouse stat cause this scene needs one...
well one band canceled so they pushed back the starting time to like 930 or so... the fist band was the virgin surgeons they were pretty good, amusing... the wisconsin flu deth eh same old same old... then came still X ill from buffalo,NY who were fucking awesome... it was so nice to see alex and eric again their old band the young ones played our house some years back... i danced and jumped around and had so much fun... and i bought more records ha ha... arron asked us to stay since the roads were so shitty but i had to follow my inttuition which was really nagging me to leave for whatever reason even though it seemed sorta illogical... so i heated up the SUV and brushed off the ton of snow that acumulated on it... while reciting quotes from the big lebowski, awesome! some other drunk kid rambled on about freddy vrs jason vrs ash vrs predator vrs xena vrs hercules vrs worf vrs geordy laforge... wooo that was very silly and very funny meanwhile various kids pissed on the building right in front of us... then we left... the ride home was crazy, the roads were so shitty but at least there was barely anyone on them... those that were drove like idiots myself included. i couldn't see behind a few semi's so i had to pass them in the deeper snow... it wasn't a problem thanks to the 4 wheel drive SUV... at one point the road forked with construction barrels and i wasn't sure which side i was supposed to be on and by the time i tried to slow down i was on the left hand side and i started to fish tail then i 180'd ass end into the ditch... i thought we were so fucked cause the ditch seemed too deep to drive up... so i backed farther into the field got it at different angle and got back on the road... the way home was an adventure... i still think SUV's are lame but i wouldn't have made it home if we took my car...
