Wow it really deos sound like you have had quite the year there. I'm glad you are taking note of some of the good things in life and trying not to linger on those things which would be considered bad.

I also am thankful for music, first dates, and great beer I dont have a sister, but I think it would be weird if we had the same shoe size

I spent my Saturday at my Grandma's house hurray! Actually it wasnt as bad as it sounds. The eveining was much better though. More of a standard get together of friends followed by some video games and a movie. It was nice though.

Nothing fun about taking the F in a class, but sometimes its just the way it has to be. 'Specially since these degrees seem to count for less and less these days. It more important to have time to live than have all A's. Besides if you get a chance later on to have another go at it, it disappears (always a nifty thing)
They're all weirdos? Man I knew I was missing out somewhere. I'll have to sign up on there. Dating tends to be a bit of a bummer no matter what, but at least if you're out with a weirdo, there's always some thing new and different going on.

We have a mutual friend from what I've been told. Benny is here visiting my hubby and I to get his laptop fixed and informed me that you work with him and are on SG. So.. in an odd way.. nice to meet you.. sort of!

Towel shopping can be quite exciting. You just need to convince some of the poeple around you to model them for you. That's an adventure in it's own rights.

I had to work on Halloween. Which wouldn't have been all the bad except that the hotel was EMPTY!! I had a very animated (and deeply fulfilling strangely enough) conversation with the automated weather hotline out of sheer boredom. Its always the day that you bring a book that you're just about done with that you end up with a ton of time to read.

having daylight savings on a weekend is totally pointless! I mean, come on! the only way that it's cool is on a weekday when people work and ACTUALLY get to sleep in!

makes work a pain but it'll be pretty for like an hour or so.

Eww the snow is getting closer and closer each rainy day here. In fact it has already reached my frends house up on the benches of the moutnain. I dont mind the snow until the day after Christmas, but then it needs to go away.

I like to think that I have always had great costumes, but I do remember one year when I was a kid I got a lot of compliments on a wizard costume me and my mom made.

This year I am planning on not dressing up though

Car crash? OUCH!! I'm glad to hear you healed up. Healing from something like that can take forever sometimes, it seems. I know I still get dizzy sometimes from my last concussion.

Bismarck? Wild and crazy town. To be honest, though, it is actually kind of a fun place. I used to work for a company that repaired Blackjack tables and delievered Pulltabs all over North Dakota. Bismarck was always a fun place to hit. It seemed to have found that perfect balance of big enough to have somthing to do, but not so big that you couldn't find your way around. . . . . . . .or possibly I was just delerious. Driving all day by yourself in a truck full of pulltabs through the miles and miles of miles and miles that make up North Dakota can have a nasty effect on your sense of reality. I recall having a long and quite informative discussion with the hornet that was trapped in the front of the truck with me. I think I won the arguement, 'cause eventually he stung me and flew out the window.

Any day where you get some extra sleep is a good day. What more can you really ask for?

I work the night shift at a hotel in Downtown Minneapolis. And since I am the peon (new guy), I have to work weekends so I get the midweek stretch as my weekend. Kinda of fun, though, to always be comeing when everyone is going . . . . um, so to speak (I tried, believe me, to find a better analogy, but I just couldn't make one work). Plus I get all day, with the help of a judicious amount of caffine, to work on my own stuff.
