Weird synchronicity in my life: Not a week after getting a subscription here, my friend asked if I would shoot a photoset of her to submit to Suicide Girls. MY ACCOUNT IS NOW JUSTIFIED, BWAHAHA!
Not that I'm a professional with an expensive camera, but I do think I'm a semi-decent photographer, if you squint a bit, and hopefully I can help her out and shoot something awesome. I spent last night brainstorming and thinking about things, and I'm kind of glad SG has such a comprehensive FAQ.
Also been asked by a friend to make a flyer for a free show downtown next month that Heavy Cream is playing. I'd never heard of them before, but after giving them a listen, I'm kind of stoked about doing it, and getting to see them play, they sound awesome.
AND some amateur author dude wants me to do a cover and some spot illustrations for a book he's writing. He's offered to pay me but I'm on the fence about it right now...I haven't had the time to read what's written of it yet on deviantART, but what little I glossed over didn't excite me too much.
Aside from brainstorming on shooting my friend naked, I've been lazy this weekend. Gotta step up tomorrow, I have 4 pages left to draw of chapter 3 of Other Sleep and the majority of it to color and letter. Also working on a short 4-or-5 page comic that's a tribute to Moebius...
If I don't have a big stack of things to do/draw, I panic. I am like a shark, I must keep moving.
