Uh, oh. Here I go again haha. So it's my birthday today and I'm pretty excited. Gonna go out to lunch with my girlfriend in a moment, so this will be short. Life for me has been going well so far. The new classes have been kicking me in the ass uo to this point, but I've kept up. Only time will tell how I manage. The girlfriend and I are going great, so no complaints there. Work...well, it's work. Only thing is that no person should have to mutate plasmids and incubate vectors on their birthdays. But that's life, I guess.

So now that I'm a quarter of a century old, it kida feels odd, I guess. I still feel like that kid with his head in the clouds wondering about my future and what I'm gonna do with my life. But at the same time, I feel old. I feel my age, for sure. I mean, it'll be neat to be able to rent a car without my sister's help, but I feel old compared to everyone else around me. My boss is 24 (2 months younger than I am) and she is managing two apartment complexes. Where am I? Still working on my undergraduate degree. My girlfriend is 18 (yes, say what you want), enough said. Most of the other residents I work with are 18-19 and the oldest ones are 21-22. And here I am...a quarter of a century old. Bah, I shouldn't complain. Life is good at the moment and age is a relative thing, right? You're only as old as you feel, yeah? Well, anyways, I gotta go have lunch right now.
