We had to be there without wyspurr for a while. I have trouble feeling ok with that. I felt so uncomfortable that vanuslux and I got into a slight tiff at the beginning of the night. Sometimes I just get into a headspace where nothing is ok. Fortunately, we decided to just forget trying to relax in the dungeon because we just kept egging each other on. We went to get alcohol. It worked.
At the bar, I met a charming lady named Zhaira. She introduced herself and asked me how I was feeling. I told her how uncomfortable I felt, and she understood. She even offered to let me stay behind the bar if I felt the need to be left alone for awhile. That, along with the alcohol, finally put me at ease. I think all I really needed was a friendly face. Later on, I got her e-mail address. I think we're going to be good friends.
I met the leader of the local OTO. Apparently they hold a monthly service at Spring Fourth. I kind of want to go to the next one, just to see what the service is like and to learn how I respond emotionally.
I also made some other new friends. I don't know their ljs, but I'm sure I'll find some out later. We met a couple that's interested in perhaps getting a house with us. wyspurr met another Gemini that will probably be our friend too.
All good things must come to an end, and, after a wonderful night, we went back home to be responsible parents to the kids.
