Had another interview today. This time at a medical office. Really cool place, the entire atmosphere is very reminicent of Rider's when it was good -- fun, people get along, laid back. It's unlike Rider's in that it pays really well. She says I'm her #1 candidate, so let's cross our fingers. I think I locked it up, but you never know.

It was a beautiful day today. It hit like 38, which, for people in Cali and warm places is colder than a well digger's ass, but for those of us from Detroit, this time of year, it's like summer. It was a beautiful, beautiful day. I spent a half an hour just standing outside, walking around alone, thinking about life in general. We've had some great times. I was thinking of all the hilarious stories Adam and I have, all the wacky antics we've been going on with for years and years, and all the great people I've had the chance to meet. I'm lucky. I may not be wealthy at all, and Lord knows I have issues out the wazoo, but, at the end of the day. I've been able to meet some of the most interesting, thought-provoking, annoying, fun, drunk, lazy, over-worked, insane, dull, outgoing, shy, secretly gay, and gun-totingly awesome people in the entire world. God bless you all because you're all these great sketches in my past -- I don't know if I'll ever have anything deep and concentrated in me. I may never have the focus to be a Proust. But, then again, maybe that's not why I'm here. Maybe I'm more of a sketch artist -- maybe I can capture things quickly and with whimsy, and each and every one of you is a part of that. You're all these brightly colored sketches in my mind, and you've all shaped my perception of the world. Maybe it's because of you all, and God, and just a general apprecation of each and every breath I have but I love being alive.
