I was laid off yesterday. I have now been infected by what seems to be a plague of unemployment in SGLA. Basically it comes down to this (it helps if you have read my last journal) I went in on Monday not wanting to loose my job and trying to keep it. Tuesday same thing, I thought I was improving but I was called in after lunch and told that it wasn't working out and that they were going to lay me off. Basically like I thought, the office manager had already made up her mind before she talked to me on Friday, meaning that I really had no chance of keeping my job. It was not the right job for me, I think I knew that at the interview, but it was a learning experience and I think I came out for the better overall. Now I just need to get a another job soon. I am looking for something that has a somewhat relaxed environment in a place were people actually like coming to work. That's it, I'm not picky and I want to try new things.
