I had the BEST day ever today! It was a great day in every way.
Mnementh and I have been waiting for almost a month for our tax return to get here so we could have our new mattress delivered (we did pay on delivery). On my way to my car this morning I found out that we got the money, and so our new mattress is going to be delivered tomorrow between 2 and 6 pm. Hurray
Than while at work this morning standing in the rain collecting tickets for morning madness, I stopped an Imagineer (didn't know he was one at the time, I was just curious about the purple id card) and he stood in the rain and talked to me about how to become an Imagineer for a little while, then asked me for my email. Seriously this made me freakin giddy! I was soo excited.
Next I got off work early and went and picked up Mnementh from work because his car was in the shop getting the brakes done. We went to pick up the car on the way home and when the guy asked how we would like to pay, he said "how bout in with Disneyland passes?" (I was still in my costume). I said I had two passes on me and we struck a deal. WE got our rear brakes done for $106!
Awesome!
Once we got home I found an email waiting for me, from my new Imagineer friend!
Today was the best day that I have had in a long time, not that I haven't had good days, just that everything about this day was great. Aside from not going to nonsense's party tonight (which I wanted to go to till I saw what time I had to work tomorrow) this day was simply great!
