So I have had a lovely weekend. Aside from being in some pain.
Friday, I went and got my MRI done. The actual MRI part wasn't bad at all. I almost fell asleep inside the machine, but it was just a tad too loud. I guess I had a surgical proceedure done. They had to inject my shoulder with contrast (dye) so that they could see what was going on. Well this consisted of me lying on a table on my right side (I haven't slept or laid on my right side in like two months cause it hurts after a few minutes), they then proceeded to swipe my shoulder down with iodine, then putting this cold numbing stuff on a small section of my shoulder, then shoving a long skinny needle through my skin about 2 maybe 2 1/2 inches from the middle of my chest to the very middle of my arm socket and then injecting the contrast so that they would be able to see better in my MRI.
Yeah, I drove myself to this and had to drive myself home. I couldn't really move my right arm at all.
Hey did I mention I drive a stick shift truck? Yeah getting home was very interesting!
So because my arm hurt so bad and I couldn't drive myself anywhere I had to call into work on Friday night. I called in Saturday too, cause my arm still hurt and the thought of having to drive there and change my clothes a few times was just more than I could handle! But it meant that I got to go to the SGOC monthly brunch. Which I thoughly enjoyed. After brunch Mnementh, Koleeta and I went and saw, You, Me and Dupree. The last 20 minutes are pretty funny. Can't say much about the rest of the movie.
I went to Vencie after the movie with my sister-in-law and hher boyfriend and two friends and had a good time. It always surprises me how muc I like to spend time with Mnementh's family. I had them drop me at Sexybeast's house so I could attend his little shin dig. I had fun. Got pretty buzzed off of two shots (hurray for being a cheap drunk
) I also got talked outta going to work today (not that hard at the moment) and am now sitting at Sexybeast's computer while the boys play x-box.
I've had a pretty good weekend. Hope you all have had one too!
