so i just have to say.....FIREFIGHTING ROCKS.

i got back from my first run down to california on friday and, as stoked as i am to be home and see my friends and everything, i can't wait to go back out. crazy huh? when i was out there all i wanted was to come home, cuddle with my kitty, party with my friends, and sleep in my own bed. but now i want back out. the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence i guess.

i just love getting out into nature and, despite the long hours and hard physical work, it feels so good at the end of the day to know i've done something that matters. and my body's thanking me of course lol. i think my favorite part is getting to get back in touch with my inner tomboy and being one of the guys for a couple weeks at a time. i came back dirty as hell and with a mouth like a sailor... but it sure felt good to get all nice and clean and put a skirt and makeup on for the first time in a while.

anyway just wanted to let everybody know that no, i haven't been ignoring you all....just been in the middle of the woods with no internet access.

i should be going out again soon...any day now actually....so wish me luck and keep in mind that i love you all but am just going to be seriously busy fighting all these fires breaking out this summer. gotta make that money SUCKAS
