i got fired for asking for my paycheck? really.

no seriously
yeah it says i got fired for my attitude because i had said i needed my pay if not i was going to file a report with labor board and what i missed my class twice already and she need to pay my miss class fee which was 50 bucks.
read the email lol

i just added the first email that started this i still don'tknow what "EDD REGISTRATION shes talking about"

Louis,
I am willing to pay you if you had asked for it respectfully. I paid everybody Last Friday and could have paid yours if you just patiently waited. I am working for a big company and my paycheck comes in a week after the cut off. No big deal because that is company policy. I am not scared of labor since I rally do have a garnishment letter from them. But it is your attitude that prevents
me of doing it because as your employer I have discretion on everything. You have all those e-mails plus e-mails that you responded that I have replaced you with Keri. E-mails saying you
will only get paid when and if you work on your events, but not when you are just sitting in the back on your laptop. I paid you on the day you had pillow fights in Pershing Square, when you have to go out and eat at little Tokyo you still got paid. You got paid for taking out the paintings living it on the floor then left them there for 2 days. You have given out my events for FREE, deposit my check in your account, and yet I still gave you a chance.
It was your attitude where I based your termination...plain and simple. SIgn the garnishment from EDD then I will give you your paycheck.

I really don't understand why don't wanna give me my last pay.
23.31 hours? at the rate of 10.50?
You say i haven't been on your pay since feb? but i've been working for you since oct.
I have the emails you've sent me saying you will pay me $250 per week working for the events. I have emails saying to get gigs, i have your texts saying "that pay was fridays all i had to do is wait"

I exported my hours from the POS your cafe to show that i worked
Like last friday i was working and you said you weren't going to pay for that? but i was working i worked for 4.5 hours that day also i was dealing with the health department tryin to get the out of the as quickly as possible. so they couldn't see the insects we have there and all the violations we have. i signed for the report i have a copy of that so how can you say i don't work for you?

i'm asking for my pay plain and simple .

I will call and see if you left me a pay on monday. if not
i will

Thanks.

and here is the FIRST EMAIL that started everything

Louis,
How dare you tell me all this things. You always borrow money from me whenever you want to or feel like to. Payday is tomorrow. You are not my employee anymore so it is my discretion when to pay you.
Anyway you have a garnishment from EDD for not paying your registration for $199. As your employer I am obligated to pay that and take that out from your salary. I have that letter and if I want to I will do it so you DO NOT GET ANYTHING!!!

Why would I let your events run for 7 hours and get nothing? I am paying Dennis 9per hour and Marcus did not pay me anything. You are throwing FREE events, that should only last maximum of 3 hours. Last Tuesday the police came. if they were to give us a ticket, will you pay for it? Have you rented out a place for 7 freaking hours and do not pay for anything? But now I can't give it out for FREE anymore. Give the information of the people who will have their events to me and I will call them up and tell them. 4 hours is my maximum for $300 a night with a $100 downpayment. If you give me that you can have the backroom if not then forget it. How many time should I tell you this is a business and not charity. Always , you will tell me they would pay for it , pay for it but I never get the money.

I think I won't be needing your service anymore after this. I need to pay your garnishment and it will come off from your salary.

So i still haven't heard anything from either you or Sandy
You tell me to talk to sandy
sandy tells me to talk to you
then sandy tells me that you haven't talked to her about my pay.
and the the money that is being made from the cafe isn't going to employees and that you need to pay us.
I've been at the shop the last 3 days asking for it and i've been here working doing things

I've miseed my class today again. because i cannot go to class without paying for it.
just like last time i told you that i missed it because dennis left
i get charged $25 for missing my class, last time and this time werent my fault
so someone needs to pay that fee for both classes that i missed due to being here at the cafe.

I shouldn't have to be begging for my pay, you know that i get paid saturday i know i wasn't here but my pay should of been left here for my to grab whenever you came in. Just like another other store/shop/cafe the employer should have checks ready before noon on payday

Also now Pe tells me that no one can use the place after 10pm?
all the shows that i have coming up are from 7-1130 or 7pm-1230
i can't tell them now they can't when the show is only a week or 2 weeks from now

Like I said there is always more to the story. I was basing my answer off the small section of email I read.

Without actually being your boss and seeing your work ethic and such I cannot say what I would/wouldn't do in that situation.

Sometimes things happen for a reason. Honestly my biggest pet peeve in all the emails were the spelling and grammar errors. A boss or company should always, always spell/grammar check their emails. It's very unprofessional to send anything less out to employees (past or present) or customers.

Eh, life is stressful right now. More so than I think it ever has been for me but I will get through it. Thank you for asking.

&good luck on your interviews.
