April 2--another shitty day in paradise.
I was going to go see a flick last night, but instead the GF and I ended up having a summit conference. It had been brewing for a few days, and it was just a matter of time I guess.
We had been livin' together for over a year, and we also work together. That started out great, but not having any space for our selves was getting both of us down. We decided to get separate places about a month ago, and to scale things back a bit.
I thought it was gonna work out pretty well, and I think she did too, but ultimately it is really hard to take two steps back when you have been that close to someone.
So we are just gonna stay friends. And in this case--that really is true. We were very close friends for almost 5 years before all the hi-jinx started happening, and I know we will stay very close. It still sad though...
(On a lighter note--we will probably still fuck eachother after rock shows
)
OK--next several journal entries will be full of useless information dammit!
PS: she couldnt stand any reggae music, so I had to curb it for a while, I am now going to crank Peter Tosh's "The Toughest"
