thanks to all those who responded to my last post ! it's nice to get some feedback.
i'm almost to the point where i am ready for the holidays to be over.....almost.....i'm gonna burn some beef instead of turkey or ham or turduckhen or tofurkey. steak, taters, salad, and a cake (chocolate). gotta have a cake - it's jesus' birthday! doesn't everyone have cake on christmas?

Well, they closed parts of 20, and I know several people here that had family stuck on the road. We ventured out to go to the store and Chad's truck hydrod several times, and the store isnt even a mile away. Also, Lufkin had tornadoes the other night. So we figured it would be safer to stay. I'm not sure when the last time Abilene had a white christmas. Ive only been here a year, so I have no idea. but I will ask someone for ya.

I have cake on Christmas, there is on in the fridge right now waiting to be cut after dinner biggrin
