Amen! A friend of mine posted on facebook yesterday that her little boy went out on their deck and announced, "Today is spring." She asked him why he thought that, and he replied that the sun was shining, the flowers on the trees were blooming, bugs were buzzing around him, and he felt happy. She decided that was a better reason to officially start spring than a date on the calendar!

my sister is still in the hospital - wtf? i need a shave and a haicut, i need need need to burn some beef.
i need to let my dog run/swim. i rented "the hurt locker" but haven't watched it yet. it's going to rain monday - boo ! i can't sleep cuz my back hurts so much!

nothing new to report really.....same old boring stuff. celebrated wife's birthday. spent time with family including grandson. now he's saying mama. i'll spend some time with him monday and work on saying papa.

Thanks to all my awesome friends who responded to my last blog.

well, my grandson is saying "bottle" and "dadda" = awesome ! we still gotta work on getting him to say "Papa". he really loves applesauce. sat. i think he's gonna get to try bananas. i'm betting he'll like that also. yes - i will try to post some pics of him soon.

well my sister is in the hospital again......heart disease is a bitch. i really don't like hospitals but i feel i should go visit. i hope my dog minds while i am gone. she gets an attidude with my wife like 'your not the boss of me'. my grandson gets cuter by the day...almost 7 months now. he loves apple sauce !

So happy valentine's day to all......i think i'll take my bride of 25 years to dinner then to see the movie 'valentine's day'. she doesn't care for roses or jewelry - lucky me. oh, can't forget a card and chocolate. she says really good chocolate is like really good sex - hehehe.
