the bbq contest was fun. lots of good cooks at the contest. grandson is growing like a weed. i'm sure he recognizes me. gotta go to a wedding next weekend - should be fun. band and open bar @ reception - w00t!

everyone involved was really cool about it...once i explained my brakes locked up causing me to hydroplane....im just really really sore right now

yeah I'm watching a football game with someone right now who was going to bet on the Colts and then decided against it. He's pretty miffed. He's also trying to teach me about betting on football games, I don't know anything about this spread crap and why it's like that. I can keep up with football games, let's not make it more difficult than it already it for me. tongue

Also, yeah it's a rarity when I have a nice blog. I tend to leave em up for awhile too because even I enjoy them. That's sad ain't it?

i'll probably take the wife out. i'm sure we'll babysit the grandson so the daughter and son-in-law can go see a movie or something. i wish my back felt better so we could go to the lake. oh well - it will be crowded there anyway.

wow - this week has been going by fast. i really need to take the dog to run/swim. she's been neglected since the grandson arrived. we finally got some rain....and most of the severe storms bypassed us.
i got cabin fever bad bad bad....not being unable to function normally sucks. i know it takes time to heal from surgery but i don't wanna wait. whaaaaaay....

OK - who turned on the heat? i can't take my grandson for a stroll when it's 100. i gotta walk for rehab but i don't care to do it alone. my daughter and grandson came over yesterday....the dog was so so jealous....the cats just wanted to sniff - i think.

progress is slow........but i knew it would be after 4 back surgeries. i get staples out thursday - yippie !

it seems like logan (grandson) wants to be a nite person. when my daughter gets a breast pump maybe i'll be able to read/sing to him. rock him, change him, feed him etc. all nite long... i may tell him stories about his momma.

i'm still eating pain killers like crazy.....showering with a chair in the tub....sleeping a lot. i'm also not cooking
