Vampires in the trees? I wouldn't doubt it. Went on a vampire tour of New Orleans from Haunted History, the same ones who do ghost tours.
I expected a guy with fake fangs - "And here is where they filmed Dracula 2000. And here Lestat..."

Instead we got true criminal history: Murders. Very BLOODY muders, mutilations etc that have happened over the years in New...

ooo, i think i'd take some garlic gum even though there are no vampires in indiana. i just like garlic.

ha, i saw Dracula 2000 in the theatre and enjoyed it as far as those sorts of films go. if you like that stuff, you should check out this russian movie called NightWatch. just came out over here in the US, and i guess it's the most successful russian film ever. neat effects and a decent story, and i'm not usually a fan of fangs... unless they come on wild animals.

dude that sounds like so much fun. i would love to go on something like that. i like being creeped out....

You know, walking down St. Charles at night, I can almost imagine things that are almost human standing on the branches of the big oaks, watching..

I HAVE to go dancing soon, or I'm going to scream. Somewhere dark, where they play the bass loud enough it becomes your heartbeat, where you can taste it. NIN please, or maybe even Dragula. Something where I am transported.

Dig it! I could get down with some boobies and cake.

Yeah, I went back to New Orleans in January... it still looks pretty bad, but I guess it's getting better. All my family is back there still, but they're doing ok.

I'm Bipolar II, they say. I would think it was ADD, but I've studied up on Bipolar for years, and it just sounds too much like me. lol, bipolar lite;D

I have an copy of Dreamhunters autographed by Neil Gaiman. I *love* him. I'd marry him, seriously. And the artwork is just amazing, if I could get Yoshitaka Amano's autograph, I could die a happy girl.

Have you seen this? I still can't watch this without sobbing.

Best memorial I've seen. You will never listen to "Fix You" without remembering this.

Hey,

My tattoo actually went really well.
To be honest I was terrified, I was shaking and stuff! Once he started doing it I was amazed as it really wasnt that bad. It was just a bit scratchy. Make sure you eat a decent meal before hand, take some sugary juice with you, and if you start getting too hot, ask them to stop for a minute. I got really hot, the guy said it was because of all the adrenaline in my body. Apparently he's had some guys faint because they got too hot and never asked him to stop!
It really is not that bad.Im getting my second, much bigger piece on my ribs next week, and thats going to be a bit nerve racking, but Im sure it will be ok.

Oh also, do not drink any alcohol on the day or the day before.

Good luck kiss

Hmm, yeah, I've tried that. It's tough to get the lighting and the focus right. He he, I guess I meant to say you should get a digicam. I was totally against the digital revolution, and I knew if I got one, I'd neglect my Minolta.... which I did. frown BUT, I've saved lots of money and shot lots more pictures lately, and I have an enlarger waiting to be set up whenever I move so I won't neglect my REAL camera any longer.

P.S. Gloria Steinem spoke at my college senior year. She wore leather hot pants with her gray hair. love

Tornados heading north of New Orleans, and the news just told those poor people: You have 15 minutes. GET OUT of your Fema Trailers!!! Go into your damaged homes if you can! If you can't, a ditch is safer than the trailers! GET OUT NOW!!!

Wow... my heart goes out to New Orleans. I miss it there sometimes...

And yea... I'm trying to keep the self-control thing going, but I have a feeling things are gonna get messy anyway... whatever

Hope I get my hair dyed black BEFORE the Convergence Goth fest.

Living in New Orleans has been hard work and climbing uphill and despair since Katrina. I want fun & distraction.

T-shirt I'm wearing to campus tomorrow: MAKE LEVEES, NOT WAR!

aaaw thanx for the comment, it sure is nice to hear I look like someone who is cute... new orleans huh? I feel for you. When that was first happening and I saw babies on the news drinking pop because there was no water, I told my hubby that we could drive there from Canada faster than your own gvmt could get water in for them...you definatly deserve some fun!

kyd:
i agree about the black hair. maybe get really crazy and throw in a streak of pink or green! I've never been able to dye my hair. something in my hair doesn't take the dye and not even a week later, i'm back to the same color. it's permanent dye too. i've astounded many a beautician.

so your phone number isn't quite as famous as jenny's, but at least it equals pi. that is awesome!

Nobody shot, I think.

The guy who was yelling left, and another guy came over a few minutes later. "Man, why didn't you..." I heard him asking so she must be okay, or at least able to talk.

Someone knocked on the door, and only the visitor came to the door. He seemed in a hurry to get the door closed again.

"Where is my MONEY? I set you up here so you could get with my friends, and so far I haven't seen NOTHING!"

Fight next door, man yelling at the woman living there. "WHERE IS MY MONEY, YOU F***ING B**CH!?? You know who I am? I'm the Nig*** sitting in Texas waiting for the money. You think I wouldn't come back??!"

I don't know whether...

call the police. if anything he will be charged with public disturbance and that will at least get him out of there. don't leave your house. just call the police.
bratgrrrl:
He left soon after I posted. I heard him mumbling when he left so I THINK he was still talking to her. Then he told the person waiting in the car to unlock the car door, and they drove off.

I have this fear she's dead or hurt over there, though I didn't hear anything.
