first off this is meant as satire. This is also based off of my experience as a tattooed girl and things i get asked or told all the time.
1. Yes we do have tattoos and you think this is a way in for you to talk to us. With a generic copy and past " Oh hey there I like your tattoos" and as much as we appreciate the complement you are probably the 10th guy that night to use that as a pick up line. We are more then our tattoos be original when approaching us and stand out from the crowd.
2. Do not I repeat do not tell us we look like coloring books. This is not a complement. Not on any level. We have picked out talented artiest to decorate our bodies in permanent art work not "rolled in a newspaper.
3. Please don't ask how much it cost. Its rude! I can tell you how much the artist charges per hour but how much it has cost me personally is non of your business. I spend money on something I love and that will last me a life time. so you just go back to spending unnecessary money on your car, stripes or designer clothes or anything else your heart desires and stop judging me on what i choose to spend my hard earned money on. coz the is what that question is judgement.
4.No you can not touch them! Why? Because its part of my skin. now you just a creep standing in a shopping mall stroking my arm. you look with you eyes not your hands, and i will slap you, you sexually harassing weirdo.
5. Don't ask how my parents feel about it. I live alone and make my own money witch means Im an adult and pretty capable of making my own decisions. Except when it comes to not leaving all my washing till the last minuet and being stuck with nothing to wear.
6. I don't care what tattoo you planing on getting but are to scared and will probably never get. Let me guess its a cross on you chest or a grim reaper on your back no no wait its no regrets or only God can judge me on your chest? If you are serious about a tattoo i can recommend artests but honestly if I don't ask I don't care what you getting.
7. yes there are tattoos you cant see and no you can not see them. This is disgusting thing to say. you are blatantly asking to see me naked Its rude and automatically I want to punch you in the face. NO just NO
8. please don't lift my shit up to see my tattoos.
9. Yes it Fucking hurts don,t ask god dammit. And why on earth would they not be real do you think I draw them on everyday?
10. Most important don't dehumanize them the way most of the things on this list do we are more then just tattoos That arm you are pulling on that belongs to a women. I know you love and appreciate my art but please do it in a way that respects the person its attached to.
