FLA Vacay - Jan 31
Another good day.
We went to Universal today. It took a couple detours for coffee and muffins, but due to those, I was able to find something I had been wanting to purchase since last year. Further proving to myself that everything happens for a reason. : )
Anyway, once we got there, we made our way to the Islands of Adventure section and I headed straight to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Again, I had a big stupid smile on my face and I got goosebumps from various songs from the soundtrack playing throughout the park. lol. I purchased a Gryffindor cloak that I'd been debating buying since our last visit, and had finally decided to go for it. What was even better was I could have sworn it was like $200, which is one of the main reasons I was hesitant to buy it before. But when we got there, the tag said it was only $100. And, of course, in my girl mind, that now means I have an extra hundred to spend on stuff. haha
We rode a couple rides in the Harry Potter area and then started walking around the rest of the sections. We had lunch in the cafe in the Jurassic Park area and then ended up in the Marvel comic area so I could take pix with a bunch of superheroes. haha
After that, I just wanted to peruse the gift shops, which my dad and I did while my mom lapped the park. Once we all met up again, we made our way back to the car and came home. I (with the "kind" words of a friend, lol) was able to kick my ass over to the gym for a bit of weight training and mild cardio.
The temperature for the coming days keeps changing little by little, but tomorrow is supposed to be just slightly warmer than today and, considering we spent the day walking around and stuff, tomorrow will definitely be a re-coop/pool day. I'm gonna need to turn my pink skin brown. lol
