FLA Vacay - Jan 29
We finally made it.
Like I figured, we didn't leave the hotel til like 8:17am. And that was after a hearty breakfast (which included 2 Krispy Kreme donuts, provided by the hotel, lol). Nothing too much happened on the drive down. I just did some snoozing, finished reading one of the 6 books I brought with me and, as it got dark, I watched Tangled.
For lunch, we went to a Denny's diner which was right near a Walmart and good thing too, cuz I was smart enough to double check that I brought enough clothing, but not smart enough to remember to bring deodorant. I coulda sworn I had though, but oh well. lol
For dinner, we went to a Perkins. And while we were there, we found out there was some big pile up on the I-75, a bit south of where we were. Basically, a forest fire caused so much smoke that people couldn't see the cars in front of them and 10 people ended up dead. Here's a URL about the whole thing...

There was some debate on whether we should just find a hotel in the area (about 1.5 hours north of our hotel) and spend the night there, or find an alternative route. Thankfully, we chose to keep going and we got to our hotel at 12:45am.
So, now we're just unpacking and getting settled. According to the weather network, it's gonna be like 20 celsius tomorrow and then 22 the next day and then 26 for the next 3 days after that, so it's lookin' good so far.
Not sure what we'll be getting up to tomorrow, but I'm sure it'll involve me wearing a sundress. lol. Anyway, hope the weather isn't too shitty at home right now. And I'm already missing my friends, so everyone feel free to text me and keep in touch.
