Florida Vacation - Day 3
Well, today was definitely a lot quieter, but there was some tension.
We had breakfast at the hotel again and were able to get all packed up and into the car a little quicker than yesterday... but not that much quicker. lol. While we were packing up, we saw a family of cats; a mom and 3 kittens. I was able to get close to a couple of them to take pix, but not too close. Before we could leave town though, we headed to a Wal-Mart so my dad could pick up a calling card. I ended up buying a pair of workout sneakers and a t-shirt. :] Once we were on the highway, we only made one stop for gas and a snack and then kept going til we hit the Florida welcome centre. We took the usual pictures in front of the Florida sign, called my Oma and picked up some brochures for Universal Studios and just some local attractions. We made one more stop along the way until we finally got to the hotel we're staying at and that's when it all got interesting.
We were given a room in a different section then last time, but that was alright. We weren't picky or anything, however, when I tried to get onto the web, there were no neworks available. After trying a couple things, without results, my sister called the front desk and we were informed that our room had no WiFi access, you needed to have a cable for internet. So, we told my dad and he went back to the front and when he came back, we had a new room closer to where we were the first time. We threw everything back in the car, headed over to the new room and when we tried to get in with the key card, nothing was happening. So, this security/maintenance guy came by, used some special piece of machinery and got into the room. Once inside, we found out that the room had a door that joined it to another room. My parents don't like rooms like that, so, again, we asked for another room. We ended up with one not too far from the 2nd. Once we were sure it had everything we wanted, we brought everything back in from the car. By the time we were done, we were all pretty hungry, so we decided to head to Pizza Hut. I tried to just eat til I was satisfied, not stuffed, but we don't have a microwave and I don't like cold pizza, so I probably had more than I should have. At least I came back and then worked out for a bit which brings me to now.
So, I still have some unpacking to do and I'm pretty friggen worn out, so I'm gonna leave it at this for now. It's supposed to be like 29 degress with the humidity tomorrow and 100% chance of thunder showers, so I think tomorrow might be a shopping day. But I'll have to wait and see.

blondedee:
I hate adjoining rooms also. I once had one and had to listen to the people talk loud all night.
