It's a big enough umbrella...
...but it's always me that ends up getting wet.
The day was ok. I got my cell phone back around 5 while working at PRP. Then 11:30 comes around. My alternator goes out on Center Point and Collins. I decide not to mess with it and call for a tow. The tow arrives literally two minutes later. It turns out he's a friend of a friend. I had him tow it to my mechanic down on 6th St. and 16th Ave, then I had took my mom's car.
I'd like to thank Derek for my beer last night(though I'm not sure why I ordered Bud Lt. instead of Woodpecker). I'm not really that pissed that my car broke down...it is an older car. And the timing works since I just got my taxes back. But now I don't think I have the money for a new tattoo. Maybe I'll go on a Ramen diet to save up some money.
While working at Penguin's tomorrow morning...were going to Home Depot, Menard's, Lindale Mall, and Best Buy(where I'm buying "Say Anything" on DVD). How many people can say that they're getting paid to walk around the mall. The positives of life still outweigh the negatives.
Another positive: Derek and I both developed good jokes in the last day. Mine had to do with losing my cell phone right after getting a girl's number. I should be able to fit it in in two week and two days when we go to Bettendorf for stage time.
It's 2:38 am right now...I have to be at work at 10 am. I really should be sleeping.
