Monday in Des Moines...
My voice held out long enough to perform - which was nice. We drove four hours round trip for 3 1/2 minutes of stage time. And if you don't know how long 3 1/2 minutes is...get a watch, 'cos it's not very long. I thought I had enough time to do my opener on working out or smoking meth, a new joke I wrote on the car ride there and close with the kid that puts a firecracker in his mouth. I was wrong. I just finished my new joke when I seen the light flash in the back, which meant wrap it up...fortunatly my new joke got laughs, so it wasn't awkard.
Random Fact about me: I love watching Dawson's Creek...someday's I don't leave my house until 11 a.m. because that's when Dawson's is over on TBS. Let's keep that a secert between us though.
