A couple of years ago I was cleaning behind the furnace of my apartment (don't ask me why...it was probably in a fit of anal retentiveness) and I found this letter:

U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence
U.S. Senate
Washington, D.C. 20510

Oct. 24, 1997

Gentlemen of the Select Committee:

I have written the director of the C.I.A., the Justice Department, President Clinton, the State Department as well as local law enforcement agancies regarding counter-intelligence program activity that has been directed at me for a number of years. This activity has included continual harassment, theft of my property, intense surveillance and a number of demands inconsistent with my rights as a U.S. citizen. I am in no violation of law or official policy. I have met these demands despite their illicit nature, mush to the detriment of my personal life and counter to my legitimate interests. I was promised on a number of occasions by C.I.A. staff that this counter-intelligence activity would cease upon my compliance with these demands. These staff have broken these promises on each of these occasions despite my cooperation. C.I.A. staff, which include most of the people I have known in my lifetime, have informed me that they must remain engaged in this activity until I commit suicide. C.I.A. staff have informed that President Clinton, President Bush and Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich are responsible for the continuation of this operation. I am a loyal U.S. citizen and a registered Democrat. I am requesting intervention by the Committee on my behalf. Thank you for your attention.

Sincerely, XX

cc: U.S. House Select Committee on Intelligence, House Standing Committee on National Security

He signed it with his full name, address, and phone number but I left that off.

I wonder whatever became of him.

Law school?
Who said anything about law school?
And should you have listened to Pavement and / or Sonic Youth?
Yes you should HAVE, but it might too late for you.
If you have any interest in checking them out now, please ask for my reccomendations as they've put out some sad crap in recent years...

Oh!
You seem to have posted a new journal!
I shall peruse it at my leisure.
Excuse me for a moment...

Wow!
Awesome!
Too bad he's an obvious paranoid schizophrenic.
He's in a hospital or halfway house somerwhere'd be my guess.

Ok.
So yeah.
You caught me.
I wanna go to law school and believe I have some aptitude for it.
I plan to do some ACLU-type work and / or pro bono small-time corporate ass-kicking.
Why?
You down for summa that?
