10 more things I like:
1. Swimming in the Mississippi when I was little.
2. Outhouses that don't smell. Preferably those with screen doors and other amenities. Haha!!
3. This really old bumper sticker that I saw that said "NO BOZOS" and it had a picture of Bozo the clown with a circle around his head with a slash through it.
4. Being in a boat in the middle of a lake and then jumping in because I want to swim and if I jump just right with my legs straight and toes pointed I can get to the bottom and feel mud on my feet and seaweed swirling all slimy around my legs. The slimy seaweed creeps me out actually, as I think of dark and vicious creatures lurking there, but I am compelled to do it anyway.
Hmmm...there seems to be a Minnesota summer theme going here, so I'll just keep it up.
5. Sitting around the fire pit at night with my dad who is a crazy story teller. Every word tends to be bullshit, but he weaves it so good you might never know what is true or made up. His stories are famous in several states (according to my friends).
6. This certain red 1976 Ford F-250 that can tell just as many stories. Oh, and there's always a bottle of whisky under the seat (to be pulled out when you're sitting around the fire and you've run out of everything else). I learned how to drive a stick shift on this truck when I was 12.
7. Long curvy driveways.
8. Heads in the woods. My dad, years ago, bought a bunch of ceramic heads from some college art students and then got home and put them in random places in the woods.
9. My dad's collection of skulls he's found over the years.
10. Eleventh Crow Wing Lake.

Wait! I forgot something else...
11. I love fresh cracked black pepper. The sound it makes when it is being ground up, the way it smells, and the way it tastes so good! Mmmmm chunks!

Yea, they do, its tradition. You get your real name and a name when you are baptised and then at confirmation and then when you get married and I took my mums maiden name, thats just a thing with my family though.
