I have finally come out of my martini-induced coma. It all started out so innocently...my sister said, "I'm having a few people over for a cookout. Want to come?" And then it just escalated. I must have been celebrating the end of school.

Okay..I've never made a small amount....usually a whole blender full, and I drink the whole damn thing in one go

*2-4 scoops of vanilla ice cream (depending on scoop size)
*3/4 a blender of Malibu Rum (or any other type of coconut flavored booze)
*Quarter blender of Pineapple Juice
*If you like Grenadine, add some to suit your tastes..I prefer to leave it out, but it is part of some Mai-Tai recipes.
*Blend out the chunks, until like a smoothie

This is NOT served in any sort of special glass...just get a straw and maybe a sundae spoon.

Note: you can try coconut flavored ice cream, but I'd advise against it...Would you really want to eat the left over 1/2 carton of that stuff? Not me, heh.

Next time I make some, I think I'll try adding some bananas, since they're in pretty much every smoothie known to man

yeah, I have the same non-confrontational problem...
I think that I will pull her aside and express my distaste in her actions- ( not in front of the teacher)
that way, I can work on overcoming my confrontation avoidance... and at least the experience of doing that will be something positive to have come out of this otherwise negative experience.
