Well as luck would have it, I've got a 5 day extension on my rent payment... to bad it's not due to any ingenuity on my part. No word yet really on any job prospects. I need a new one and fast. I'm going to lose my mind at NEW.
Everything right now is fucked up, but really I don't remember a time when it wasn't. I need to play music. I need to tour. I need to feel sweat running down my face and into my eyes due to stage lights. I want to hear the roar of people young and old below me. I want to be known, whether good or bad for my music, my art, my livelyhood.
I watch out my window as people walk past, so ignorant of what they do and the result of their actions. I can only hope I do not become quite so complacent as this.
