One, I cannot thank everyone enough for the support that I have gotten regarding my new set in Member Review Arden Park Roots I am so proud of this set, I put my heart into it
.
Two, I just got home from the best weekend I have had in a long time, and I never thought that I would say that about a trip to a "small square state in the middle" as I like to call em, but I seriously had the most amazing little vacation. Friday my friend Cecil and I caught our plane out of Sac and headed to Denver. It was snowing like mad!! We had to get on this tiny little puddle jumper. To get on it we had to go outside and board on the tar-mac in this insane snow storm! And then they had to defrost the plane with took a good 45 minutes, so we arrived in Rapid City a little bit late. The boys were at the airport when we got in and I could not have been happier to see them. We checked into our crappy little hotel and went to go and get the boys all set u8p and sound checked. The bar was pretty rad. The shows were both freakin crazy! Loved em, met some cool people, sold a ton of merchandise, and drank and danced my ass off! On Saturday we went and saw Mount Rushmore during the day before their second show. That was so freakin awesome to see. Really enjoyed it. Sunday when we had to go home I was all teary and sad. It was a hard day. Knowing that I had to leave my love behind was really crappy. They'll be home soon, but it still sucked major ass. Definitly not the highlight of the trip. Overall I had the absolute best time!! Rapid City, thank you for everything! I am pretty nervous for the guys right now (I am a total worry-wart!!) They are heading to Boulder for a show Wednesday night, Telluride Friday and Durango on Saturday. The weather is supposed to be pretty awful starting tomorrow so I worry abou them driving and pulling their trailer in that weather.
Keep them in your thoughts for me! And if you are in the area go and catch a show!! (They will be in Flagstaff Arizona the following Wednesday as well)
