Off to gay Paris later today..me and the grrl-friend.
Given state of Franco-US relations may not be too
wise,but these plans were made 2 years ago before
the Iraq War. Paris is a beautiful city, been there once
before but only for 1 day.
Later this week, all should mourn the death of Joe Strummer,
who died quite suddenly 2 years ago. He was a visionary
and icon, if more of today's "musicians" had the integrity
he did most contemporary music wouldn't be so lacking.

I love it how the UK media and the "Arab Street" go into paroxisms of shock and anger over pictures of a soldier punching a looter or playing nude sticklebricks with detainees, but write off suicide bombings as a natural effect of Bush & Blair's invasion...
