As many have probaly heard,Tampa
is bracing for a massive hurricane. Having lived in California,more used to
earthquakes but this is my lot.
I fought crowds at market buying water.
canned goods,batteries,etc..
Spent about 4 hours filling sandbags,which is hard work ,especially after knee surgery.
My house sits on a lake which has to rise about 6 feet before flooding but there is
a manmade pond behind me which overflows when it rains heavy..hence the
sandbags. They haven't evacuated my area yet and even if they do I may stay have my cats and I love my new house.
They're turning power off at noon hurricane expected to hit aroud 2pm..
