My ninja skills must have been in full effect on NYE. I was so invisible to everyone at the Mastodon show. Some asshole kept pushing his friend into me (would have been ok, if I was looking to 'mosh' or there I was near the pit area). 
Then some guy was talking to his girl and kept backing up into me several times. You'd think after the first time, he'd of felt my hand in his back. At least his gf tried to keep him from doing it.
Then some girl comes walking through the crowd and being a curtious concert goer, I did what I could to make her path unobstructed, but she insisted on not moving or turning to get through and just walked straight into me.
All in all it was a great night though, Mastodon killed. They played about 7 new songs and announced they were recording the show for a possible live album and their new album should be out in August. By far the best show i've see them perform.
Cream Abdul Babar was pretty good too, kinda a combination of all the Mike Patton side projects in one. Their covers of Neil Diamond's 'Love on the Rocks' and The Jesus Lizard's 'Gladiator' were most impressive.
