Had a lovely day yesterday with the lovely Mrs. RxQueen mostly spent pondering why many large silver balls were being set up to float in a pond in the middle of central park. Well that and good fun at the Polmart.
Also central park show this summer: Devo, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Stellastarr*.

Edited to add I did buy the greatest hat this world has ever seen, from the 99 cent store, far too small to actually fit on my head but it's such a marvelous fabric, I simply must wear out for an evening on the town. I'm thinking for pie.

roger that. But did you mean the Date with a Night Ep or the song? I don't know if "Maps" is my favorite song on the album, but it was the only one I had heard until I got the album. It was about cost effectiveness: I like this song and I think I might like this band; do I:a)b the ep's that people who like them like and potentially not like them and still have the "Maps" song stuck in my head, or b)get the album and exercise the demon and see if I like them enough to get a second album. Well anyway, I'll be buying the ep's soon enough (or at least the minialbum.) Oh, score on landing a nice yet too small hat.
