had a very scary nite.. My daughter has been sick she has another ear infection (her third in four months, damn daycare..) so i took her to the dr they gave her antibiotics like always.. (which give her a terrible diaper .. rash so bad it bleeds..) so i was hoping all would be ok .. It wasnt.. at about 3:00 i went and checked on her and gave her some more motrin.. to control her fever..she was whimpering so i took her to my bed.. so she could sleep with her daddy.. it comforts her and me.. I then her the door open .. my signifigant other comes strolling in.. Drunk.. .. thats another subject all together.... So im holding Lili and she starts to have a seiszure her temp had jumped from 99 to 104 in 5 minutes.. She has had one of these before which i had to take her to the hospital because i didnt know what the fuck was going on.. But apparently its fairly common..its a self defense mechanism kids have.. So she stopped and was kinda groggy so i called a dr they said if she acting alert then everything is ok.. Thankfully she was alert and looking around..I held her for the rest of the night.. until i had to come to work.. Are you sure the ear infections are from the daycare? Do as much research as you can into ways to avoid them- theyre awful, my daughters had a few. Maybe see if you can improve her resistance thru multivitamins etc.?
