you. i really do. it makes me sad when i think about you sometimes, and i'm going to tell you why. we're both such stubborn fucking assholes (and yes, i said both of us, because it's certainly not one more than the other) that we fucked up a really goof friendship. more often than not, i feel like i've lost you. and you can argue with me on that point, and say that we made up, it's all water under the bridge--whatever you want. but the fact of the matter is that we don't talk, not really, not ever. and if we hadn't had a ridiculous argument we would talk. i imagine on the phone, probably once a week or so. because that's the way we were going, and i see no reason why that would have changed. but we don't, and for some reason i doubt if we can ever get back to that, not really.
i miss you. i do. and i remember last summer really fondly, and a lot of that is because of you. (remember how neither of us ever got hit on while we were together because everybody thought we were dating? well, i still never get hit on...but you do
) i have a lot of good memories of you. but when i think of you sometimes, it makes me sad. i've wanted to say this for a really, really long time. but your post in my journal made me finally say. i hope you're well.

the HR/eric morris show was great, happy to report.
you must be referring to the pool at the hotel that was utterly destroyed that weekend. i heard the place was on a kind of 'lockdown' the last day after a lot of damage had been done (couches thrown out of windows, etc.). i had no idea who those little girls were, but that was an absolutely phenomenal set by the adicts. how'd you manage to miss that?!
now i've got to decide whether i want to see MDC in baltimore today or upper darby, pa tomorrow.. hmm.
