so, i had dinner at CRAZY DOUGH in harvard today, which i always enjoy because they have great pizza and they play music videos on a flat-screen tv while you eat. i had never seen the band who was playing in today's video, but i found that i watched most of the performance and didn't even read my swell new book on advertising. their sound felt very familar, but i had no idea who this band was, i mean, i had one guess, but i didn't think it was them for some reason.

they weren't wussy enough to be the cure,
there were too wussy to be the cult,
they weren't weird enough to be echo & the bunnymen,
and they were too weird to be the smiths.

so, i actually caved in and asked the guy behind the counter who it was...

and apparently i actually like depeche mode.
