i'd like to say that i am completely mystified.

but i am not.

this country is full of so many willfully ignorant people, that something like this was bound to happen.

money controls everything.

everything.

ideas don't matter.

heroes are not needed.

they give us a choice between two goobers, they give us a choice between two liars, and we try to pick the better of the two, and the majority of people in the big empty part of the country still pick the worst one.

this will be a very hard and dissapointing four years.

how can you fight a battle like this?

i am even more firmly resolved than before that the solution to social improvement is not through politics, it is through the destruction and subversion of the modern media.

the people who control information, control the country.

i am starting to think that the religious right must also be destroyed.

fuck, this is all so daunting.

i am not a rollover and call it quits kinda boy. but it seems the asshats in this country want bush for president. how the FUCK can i argue with people like my dad? they don't listen to reason. they just believe what they want to believe. they watch OP ED news shows, and think they know all sides of the story. how can we crush this LIBERAL/CONSERVATIVE bullshit! fuck the left and the right!

ps, i said this last time around too: the electoral college is not represenative of true democracy. true democracy will not occur until ALL candidates in multiple political parties are given even sums of money and spending caps, given equal air time, and votes are tallied in a uniform system with one person equalling one vote, and the winner carrying the most votes. how we ended up with this particular system is completely fucking baffling.

yeah, lets have elections in iraq and afghanistan.

we do such a great fucking job of things here.
