chillin' out listening to a band called FREEZEPOP. i'm going to see them this week with UV PROTECTIOM in allston, any of you boston people who like electronic music and art-faggery will want to check this out.
my friend, the pants, likes FREEZEPOP, when he built my computer for me he put all of his mp3's on it for me, and he's got a whole FREEZEPOP album on here, so now i'm getting incredibly excited about seeing them play.
this weekend i went to see MAHI MAHI at a basement show. it was almost surreal, when i got there i recognized these guys in the opening band as being from a band i've seen about five times in pennsylvania called the ROYAL NOISE BRIGADE, turns out they're the same guys. they were a really small band, but really talented. when i yelled out an RNB song for them to play they totally freaked-out, they were all like "how the hell do you know that song?" and i was all like "wilkes-barre, pa. represent!"
the police busted up the show before i got to see MAHI MAHI. so far basement shows i've gone to have been busted up by the po-po 50% of the time.

my friend brian came down from beverly to hang with me on saturday. it was really weird and very difficult. he is very religious, but usually it is tolerable and sometimes fun. but, he has apparently gone off the deep end.
he told me i was dressed like a skank yesterday. i almost got mad at him but i feel really sorry for him because he uses his religion as a crutch to make it through his day and it seems wrong to kick out someone's crutch without helping them to stand on their own, and i just don't know how to do that for him. he just broke up with his fiance because she "didn't love jesus christ" and he felt they could never be close because of it.
i didn't know what to say when i heard this. he referred to her as "a godless woman" this weekend and i'm not so sure that he was kidding. there was a lot of seriousness in his voice. i got a little pissed at that. meaghan's a good kid. i changed her tire once. she was always very nice to me and brian loved her very much. this is what god can do to your brain.
he talked a lot about how sinful he feels when he masterbates and how it depresses him and he tries to fight the urge to do it and all that. its so twisted. i asked him:
"if porn is a bad thing, how come they put naked girls in it?"
he implied that i am tempted by the devil. to which i replied that i do indeed have the devil tattooed onto my shoulder.
brian used to be huge into drugs and alcohol. he traded all of that in for the big JC.
i hate religion. no two ways about it.
i have had sex with a few girls in my time and none of it was sinful. it wasn't all good, but certain moments of beauty with a select few of those girls were so wonderfully amazing and intimate and beautiful and fan-fuckingtastic that it makes it totally worth it for me to spend as much time thinking about, looking at, and drawing girls as i do. GIRLS AND BOYS ARE FANTASTICALLY BEAUTIFUL and even moreso when they are naked.
i have a very hard time with shame and the whole naked = sinful thing.

this week is shaping up to be a good one, i did a lot of marketing and web development work today. as part of my marketing research i watched FERRIS BUELLERS DAY OFF. don't laugh. its the owner of the company's favorite movie and i'm trying to integrate that craziness into his business. the pants was telling me that he went into the scooter store the other day and the owner was actually watching it there on one of the tv's, we used to watch GHOSTBUSTERS all the time when i lived in the store.
remind me one day to tell all of you the story of how i came to live in a scooter store for six weeks.
my friend, the aforementioned pants, is coming in on thursday to see FREEZEPOP and UV PROTECTION with me and then staying for the Horror Movie Slumber Party. i'm excited about this. i've got a couple of days of work then a couple of days of fun.
it seems there's a meet-up brewing for wednesday night at manray, so i'll have something to do when i'm not stalking the dancing girl or looking to put the moves on straps-on-her-pants.

brian slept in my bed last night because he is allergic to cats. i kept waking up in the middle of the night realizing there was another body in my bed and then realizing it was a dude and getting promptly dissapointed.
do you guys have any idea how badly i miss cuddling a cute girl when i fall asleep? man, i miss kissing her neck more than anything else i've ever missed.
so warm and soft. sometimes it felt like it existed just for me.
whatever. i rule. she is dumb. gonna spend her time with some boy who (most likely) DOESN'T have an incredible left roundhouse kick and DOESN'T want to spend all of his time making her smile just so he can see her happy.
i've spent too much of my time with girls who didn't deserve me.
i don't care if that sounds arrogant. i'm such a good boy.

And dont get me wrong, I wasnt offended by being called belligerent, Ive come to realize that its something I do well, better than most people. And glad I could help you out and play the role of the completely empty-inside cynic, with my blunt and straight forward "advice". (unfortunately another thing I do all too well)
