I was fearful of building myself up too much before the events that happened on the weekend. Months of getting my costume ready, saving dollars and feverishly checking the SGAU forum finally ended with the ball taking place in Sydney. And I wasnt dissapointed. Hellfire on friday was amazing and I enjoyed it thoroughly and gave me a chance to meet up with people who were basically just usernames to me. [The Fuck Off Kid , Ainslie, Countessa , Crimsonpetals, pauper, nymphetalona, Scotty, stranger girl, Terome, Walk this wayXobel Qlari, GenevieveALice,Sin are just a few of the most truly awesome and hospitable bunch of people I have ever met. Then to see them all in the amazing costumes was just icing on the cake.
The ball was pure goodness. Everyones costume were amazing and innovative and as the alcohol flowed and the music kicked in, the night just got better and better. My first experience of sydney and the SG people is one that was truly memorable and ranks up there as one of the best weekends of my life. I say a big thankyou to everyone, you guys rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
