Looks like im going to get 2 of my articles published in the local magazine. The first article is about the importance of the understory ie mushrooms, lichens, moss, spiders, insects etc in the global conservation effort. It also shows the beauty of them all. The second article is about the tasmanian wildlife and raptor rescue refuge and is about the one man effort to save the tasmanian wedged tailed eagle and all of the other raptors. He has two of the biggest aviaries in the southern hemisphere. He has paid for it all and through my article the magazine offered a continuous free advertisement for the refuge as a donation. So it looks to be a win win for everyone involved.

This is my first time at doing the writing as well as the photography of an article and i hope it turns out well. When i get a copy i will post it on here. If anyone is able to get it, go out and grab a copy of Tasmania 40 degrees south. It will be out 1st of March. Lets hope its the beginning of great things to come.
