I'm trying not to be overly excited about the election results. The democrats don't seem to have many specific answers and there will be high expectations. If the expectations aren't met in the two short years before the next round there could be major backlash and a plunge into more radical right-wing bullshit.

How can a political party make its entire platform based on hate, ignorance and fear? Hasn't the world progressed? Haven't we moved on? Do people really believe that same-sex marriage and the gay agenda are what has destroyed (or will destroy) the 'Merican family?

Anyone want to do lunch on this lovely sunny day? I'm off from work for Veteran's Day.
