Being home again. Just got back from Nashua, NH and Minneapolis. I love travel, but this was a bitch of a trip!
South Dakota's ban on abortion except for in the extreme case to save a mother's life wasrejected by voters.
Nancy Pelosi takes the House, the first woman ever. And I like her.
Democrats take back Congress.
Rummy steps down. Heavens to Betsy!
No, I'm not a Democrat. I'm a registered Libertarian. But I think it's safe to say we need a change, and anyone's better than the incompetent fucktards we've had in office lately.
One thing I'm sad about?? Charlie Crist is govnah. I voted Max Linn. But the good people of FL are happy with cardboard cutouts of people for their political leadership, and a real independent ballbuster with a good plan and a pulse who can land a plane on a highway is something they just ain't ready for. Maybe once evolution kicks in down here (it has yet to be imported from the north) they'll consider it. But for now, alas, career cardboard it is.
Bah. At least Crist is a moderate. For now. What 'till the next Shiavo.

The Street Dogs have a new album out! It's fucking incredible!!! They just keep getting better and better with every record. Anyone wondering where the Dropkick Murphy's balls went the past few years only has to look at what their ex-leadsinger is doing these days. These guys are quickly becoming my favorite band. Can't wait for Dec. 8th when they come to Ft. Lauderdale with Bouncing Souls.
